The main idea of ​​the project is the reflection of a current emotional state. Each track is a certain time-point in life, an unrepeatable moment. Music of ANIMI VULTUS is not rehearsed either overwritten. Each record is a “one-time process”, it is a transmission of feelings and emotions, a “here and now” concept.

All of this is reflected in the world of experimental black metal/dark ambient/funeral doom music. The project was found by Saliatahn in 2002 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. At the moment ANIMI VULTUS is located in Melbourne, Australia due to Saliatahn’s relocation.
